How to Use A Muscle Roller and All About Fascia Planes

I posted my shiny new muscle roller stick on Instagram after the holidays (my husband got it for me for my birthday on the 15th!) and got a bunch of folks asking how I actually use it.

I use this muscle roller stick EVERY. DAY. Yup, I really think it’s that good.  This isn’t just because rolling out the kinks in my muscles after workouts and after being on my feet all day feels really good.

How to Use a Muscle Roller

The big reason why I love using the roller stick is because of the impact that tight fascial planes can have on muscle large muscle groups in the body.  Not sure what I’m talking about? It’s all the video below.

The main gist is that I can roll out my hamstrings and get back pain relief.  I can loosen up my calves and have it positively impact my neck.  Pretty sweet? I think so!
