News & Updates

Check out Brittany’s YouTube channel for new content popping up all the time. Alex and Megan of GingerNewtrition are working on a new Detoxing for Hormone Health Program coming out just a few short months so if you’re interested, pop on over to this email list for all the updates to follow (even though this is the page for our Healthy Hormones Group Program, it’ll get you on the right list…all things we’re working out currently!).

Prenatal Multivitamins

I discuss how I came to the decision to start incorporating a multivitamin into my prenatal care and why I chose the Nutreince multivitamin by Mira and Jason Calton for all those needs. We talk about nutrient absorption/bioavailability, appropriate doses of nutrients, and MTHFR needs.

Losing the Last 5 Pounds

We both discuss our experiences with trying to lose those last 5 pounds and all the health consequences that followed as a result. (Spoiler alert: those stories aren’t great.) We also talk about resistant weight loss, leptin/ghrelin insensitivity, and whether those last 5 pounds matter for overall health.

  1. You mentioned that Nutreince have same incredients in AM and PM packages. However, according to Calton’s patent http://patft.uspto.gov/netacgi/nph-Parser?Sect1=PTO1&Sect2=HITOFF&d=PALL&p=1&u=%2Fnetahtml%2FPTO%2Fsrchnum.htm&r=1&f=G&l=50&s1=8491889.PN.&OS=PN/8491889&RS=PN/8491889
and their book “Micronutrient Miracle” the packages contain different micronutrients.
Eg. (a) vitamins B6, B9 (folic acid) are administered in the first micronutrient formulation and B6 and B12 are administered in the second micronutrient formulation once daily; (b) vitamins A, D, and K are administered daily, and vitamin A is not administered with vitamin D; (c) vitamin C and quercetin are co-administered, at least every twelve hours; (d) vitamin A and zinc are administered together; (e) vitamin D and calcium are administered together; and (f) if administered at all, iron is administered separately from the first and second micronutrient formulation, (g) Selenium and vitamin E are co-administered in the morning and vitamin A, Zinc and B2 are co-administered in the evening.

    • Hi Noora, thanks for pointing that out! I had mentioned my mistake over on my social media sites already and plan to go into more detail on it during the next Wellness Beets episode next week. Sorry about all the confusion!
